Got in a whole bunch of sea ducks this year. I leveled the head up after this pic.
Back to some birds
Little prairie dancer fresh off the bench now just grooming tomorrow
Next one up the pipe. I had my first run in with feather slippage on this one. Right smack in the middle of the back. Luckily I was able to cover it up but I was stressing that I may have to throw it out. 4th duck ever and first flushing pose but I’ll take it!
My third duck...still practicing a bit
Just finished this up
Still working on sea ducks
Finished up the sea ducks. The Eider is a first for me...and hopefully a last. Glad to be done with them and back to regular ducks.
Brooke, What is the bird 2nd from the right in the flight of scoters
Looks like the female to those blacks.
Mann is correct. Last 2 on the right are hens. One black one surf.
Not a sea duck Shot January 16th... still full of pins.
Here is a few pics of my first 2 pheasants and first chukar. Theses where my first ever flying birds to.
Very nicely done Brooke
Working on finishing these guys up. Now to build the cover for it
