    Got this woodie put together. Just got to get the hen together now . This guy was shot up pretty bad but that's about the norm for me . I dont hardly ever get any that aren't shot all to pieces or been chewed on by a mouthy dog

    It's actually a Mottled duck. Solid pinfeathers...as they stay in a state of molt. The coonies call them French Mallards.

    I kinda thought after looking at it a second time that it wasn't a Black Duck ... Never seen a Mottled duck before ... Nice job ..

    Love the dead Mount Brooke , very cool .. I've only done one dead Mount bird so far this year , another Ca Blue goose ... This client likes dead mounts with birds that look shot with little feather tracking .. 20200308_164607.jpg

    Some great looking birds lately with lots of those smelly diver and seaducks. Got to build an acrylic cover for this one, install a LED light and etch a logo into the acrylic and call it good.
