How many casts on average do you guys get from a BONDO Mold?
If its only say 3 or 4 do you keep the BEST one as a MASTER and then MOLD that using silicone to keep making more ?

Does anyone use anything other than BONDO/RESIN for casting in a BONDO Mold? for example IE3030/IE3080

Brian, You can get dozens out of a bondo mold but you have to wax and buff and PVA. If you are going to play with pulling urethanes from bondo molds I suggest you do your learning curve with some bondo fin molds or perhaps a small cast of a perch or bluegill. You will have to do it in a warm environment though as you don't have much mass of materials to help set the cure in motion.
If you do fish layup you will have to use a urethane that has plenty of pot life time to give you time to do layup and get it clamped together.

I have several Bondo molds that I have pulled over 100 fish blanks from. Both Bondo and plastic.
