So I am wondering if you guys think that I would be able to remount a coyote? It has been mounted for like 6 months or so. And if I was going to would I just place the whole thing in a bucket full of water? Thanks

It could be possible, but I personally wouldn’t recommend it. There are several factors, like how it was preserved, was it glued down, etc. Tanned hides, when they dry over a mount tend to retain a “memory” even when they are re-hydrated, that is, it will retain to some degree the shape of the form and the position you mounted it in. To me it wouldn’t be worth the effort. I would just mount another, but that’s just me.
