I don't know if anyone out there has any experience or advice that they could regarding preservation of a Giant Isopod (Bathynomus).

I would like to prepare it so that it could be posed and displayed as a dry mount and retain as much of the natural color of the exoskeleton as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

My advice would be borax and silica beads that preserve flowers. You want to draw out as much moisture from the think you want to preserve as possible. This will help retain color.
