I found this Bar Pouched Wreathed Hornbill at a garage sale this summer and, although I love it I have no idea what to do with it. Part of me wants to try and restore it somehow but there is so much work that needs done. It is 60 years old, there is cigarette smoke stains on its white feathers, the pouch is shrunk and turned to leather, there are no eyes, the feed are completely intact but curled underneath. I have the tail feathers but they are seperated from the body. I would like to slowly be able to work on him over time but I need a starting point. Any suggestions are appreciated. Also if anyone knows a rough value of this Hornbill that would be cool to know as well. Anyways, comment or PM with any help or ideas. Thanks!
