Hey guys, havn't been on in awhile. I have a cape that had a wound that had festered and the hair fell out. It is about 5" long and 2" wide. My plan is to cut it out and sew it together and hopefully work it into a spot of a wrinkle into the form. Just curious about those of you who have done this and what the outcome was? To me it is the best fix I can think of. Thanks,

Make sure you get it all when you cut it out. Cut out a football shape and sew it with close stitches and keep hair out of them and it should pretty much disappear, if done right.

Thanks 3bears, just need to make sure there is no other option that I am not thinking of before I do it.

And if you have the option pick a form with a turn towards the repair this will give you some loose skin to work with.
