    Today, I was taking everything down off the walls for a project.
    I took down a deer skull, and realized something....looks an awful lot like last seasons deer (still out in the garage). Had to take it out for comparison.


    Aside from a little more girth, longer G3, and slightly shorter brows on the new one...these two are almost identical...
    Could be G-G-G-G-Great Grampa! (+/- a G or two)

    They are 16 years apart, and from the same area. I did see another, about 7-8 years ago that was vary similar as well. Same size, same structure.

    Without the skull cap attached, I would have thought the other set was a set of sheds from the complete one. Interesting point.

    Not to take over your thread but my son and I killed 2 bucks 2years apart that are real similar. Both have the same points but mine has a bigger unicorn point . Both have 4 points on left with a kicker both have five points on the right Killed and died very close to the same spot ck it out .     Thanks folks I appreciate it , just a side note , the buck on left ( mine ) dressed out at 208lbs and has a 29 inch neck at the ears my sons dressed out at 172 , they were both 5 1/2 years old when killed . They definitely were related but not sure how , both shot from the same tree stand. Very cool .
