    everyone I need help.
Can a wet tanned leather be dried before shipping (which lasts about ten days) and then rehydrated before mounting?
Or if it is shipped frozen when I receive it after 10 days is it compromised?
    Thank you all

    Yes it can be rehydrate.

Yes it can be compromised if left out in a plastic bag or folded so it can not dry out.

Can it be air dried without being put in a bag?

Yes put a fan on it to speed the process. Once dried, fold and ship.
    Then hydrate with this recipe
    One gallon of water
    4 oz salt
1/4 cup of Downey or fabric softener
Soak for 20 -30 minutes drain , bag and place in fridge overnight. Should be read next day. If not repeat and it should be ready then .

Perfect thanks, because I have to buy a wet tanned coat and I don't want to risk throwing everything away.
