Best Way To Clean A Dusty Turkey (18 Yrs. Old)

  1. Can anyone tell me the best way to clean dusty turkey feathers? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Not sure of the best way but a Swiffer duster is what I use on all mine.

    A feather duster that is not made of feathers followed by a large makeup brush.

    Swiffer and makeup brush. If it’s flying you can blow a lot off with moderate air.

    If the feathers are really clogged with debris, you may have to turn it upside down and spray each feather with lacquer thinner to the point of run-off. It is a very time consuming process.
