Taxidermy Classes?

    Been getting into taxidermy but want to bring myself to the next level. Where can I find some taxidermy classes local to Livermore? I found one place but it was in SF and I don’t dare drive in the city. Also if anyone knowhttps://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/

    s someone who sells cheap rats frozen that I can use for practice lmk.

    Probably won’t find any near your location, best bet is to either join your states association and go to seminars or go out of state for school.

    Try your local pet store, specializing in reptiles, for frozen rodents.

    Why do you need classes? Check out a book at the library. We didn't go to class, we got our lessons in print and we did the work and just kept doing it to improve.

    Yes join your association or look on there web site and call the president maybe he can help you find someone willing to teach.

    Hello! How do you do :) My name is Reno, I am a taxidermist in California. During the pandemic I have started teaching classes online and offering taxidermy apprenticeships under me for only $5 a month. I have a ton of fun videos on small mammal, rat and bird taxidermy as well as videos specifically on where to get specimen during the quarantine.
    I do live taxidermy once a week on zoom and do taxidermy with my apprentices, answer questions etc.

    Reno, I think thats great that your taking the time to help others....I have personally spent thousands on classes over the years (and yes, I still suck). There are a couple of local taxidermist that have helped me out more than I can imagine and don't ask for dime. If you pay for a class just remember it's not necessary the cost but what you expect to get out of it. I've paid classes from $300 a day to $500.
