I've lost one colony to a faulty temp control and I'm really nervous it's going to happen again. I'd like to get a freezer alarm that I can check with my phone. Any suggestions?

Or even better. Get a temp control that will shut off the heat when it goes bad, not keep the heat on... not sure if something like that exist. Thanks!

Try searching for reptile heating equipment. You might find something used by breeders. Reptiles need to be heated but no one wants their stock to fry either.
