UPS drivers currently make $40 an hour in these parts after only 4 years. They also have an amazing health insurance for very little with lots of other benefits. Someone has to pay for it.

Who says payday can't come any day of the week? I got my "Payday" in my package from Matuska today. If for not other reason that is a good one to order from them. Of couse the fact that they don't screw you on shipping is a bonus.

I just shipped some raw frozen small mammal hides to Brushwolf in Colorado Springs. I used a heavy cardboard box and lined it with styrofoam and insulation and two ice packs. The box was 13X16X13 and weighed 12 lbs. UPS would have been $67. USPS was $43.85. Screenshot (7)_LI.jpg

Well Mckenzie sent a call tag for the damaged log. So while it was sitting there waiting. I measured and weighed it, called it in and it was only 24.00 why was it ($15.00) more from them.
Just had another INFLATED SHIPPING rip-off. Lamp company in Bristol PA to Wilmington De. 28.00 worth of knurled inserts, four 8 foot cords and two lamp sockets, maybe 3/4 pounds if that in a 11x5x5 box, $18.19 shipping, WTF, it's getting crazier and crazier. And they now have a $35.00 minimum. Just pisses me off, been buying from them for 25 years. Start looking elsewhere I guess.

Quite a few companies have gone to the minimum order thing. I guess they don't realize that small orders today may lead to bigger orders tomorrow.

If I remember right Ohio Taxidermy Supply has either a minimum order or they add an extra charge to your order.
