Discussion in 'Molding and Casting' started by FurandFin, Jun 24, 2020.

  1. Looking for advice on using smoot-cast 325 and nickel power for a metalized a cold cast. Do I need to put a black dye in my part B and equal parts of nickel powder.
or leave the dye OUT and just use the equal part of nickel powder after Mixing A & B.

As with any plastic casting, do a small test run. Rarely do things work out on the first try.

Doing metal casting doesn’t need a test run as it’s very simple process from weighing out the product, mixing, buffing it and it’s created. No need to test as it a bit to expensive to be test running it for a simple process.
No need for vacuum ,pressure pots special tools etc.
