Just wanting advice on shipping two mule deer capes from s. Dakota to Oklahoma in this summer heat.
    Should I have them overnighted?
    Dry ice?
    Thanks

IMO, the best way is dry, salted. They will way less than half of what they weigh raw which means you save on shipping and you don't have to worry about them taking too long to arrive. I even send my boar hides which have endless fat and as long as they are semi-dry and wrapped in layers of paper, they ship fine.
