Fish Specialties Taxidermy Training

Fish Specialties Taxidermy is pleased to announce the addition of our Fish Taxidermy training division! We are now offering Fish Taxidermy Training in the Chicagoland area for all levels with an emphasis on those learning with the intent to open their own business. Come train 1 on 1 or perhaps with one other student (THE best way to learn!) Learn in a successful, fish-only working shop environment. Your instructors are two of the best – Doug Petrousek and Marty Shimkus and both have extensive, proven teaching backgrounds. Our training courses are like nothing else offered in that we actually set you up to succeed! Ever notice with other taxidermy schools how FEW of their graduates actually make it in this business? They shake your hand and wish you good luck after their training. With our approach through one of our Apprenticeship programs, we build lasting relationships and we offer a lifetime of on-going support. Nothing is held back and you’ll learn all of the techniques and tricks that we’ve honed through our 60+ years of combined experience.
