I found a deadhead this spring, it either died over the winter or the buck was wounded last fall so the antlers are still in pretty good shape but they are slightly faded. I'd like to do something to darken them up just a bit. This was a prairie buck so I don't want the antlers to be real dark. Anyone have a recommendation on how to darken them up just a bit?

Pictures as above. Without seeing them, you could try mixing up 50/50 turpentine/linseed oil. Rub it on the antlers with a rag and don't drip any of it on the skull.
