Molding First Fish

    I’m going to be molding my first fish but I here that the new hi-fiber is hard to work with. Heard a few guys using plaster and had one tell me about paper pulp. Need suggestions

    You can use all kinds of stuff, as long as you can work it and it doesn't leave impressions on the backside. When I started out, there was no hi-fiber. I used sifted sand, and I sifted it myself with a window screen. Pieces of cardstock ( I cut up paper milk cartons) can be used under fins, or around the whole body for a finer seam.
