Hello! I have a neonate haldea striatula (rough earth snake) that weighs less than a gram that I would like to preserve as a wet specimen. Will 91% isopropyl alcohol work and how much should I dilute it assuming it needs to be diluted and will I need to do any injections for such a tiny snake?

I totally agree. There is no need to inject. Be sure to seal your specimen jar well. It should last a century.

That alcohol will be fine and I would not dilute it. If you have small needles, you could inject it as long as you didn't distort it. If you do try, I would insert the needle in through the vent and through the mouth and inject small amounts along the length internally as you withdraw the needle. It's too small to try and inject through the skin without damage.
