Today I skinned my first buzzard. I noticed they have a kind of fatty patch on the inside of the lower eye lid. Should I remove this? I am affraid I damage the very thin eye lid because this patch is rather thightly stuck to the eye lid.

Anytime you have fat that’s left in any part of the skin you’ll have trouble sometime in it’s life as a mounted specimen.
