Best Method To Dry Preserve Fish Specimens?

    Looking for ways to dry preserve fish specimens! I’ve heard of Borax and baking soda but have heard lots of on and off things as far as success. Any other options out there? Not sure if I’d have the time or skill for actual fish taxidermy just yet

    Keep them frozen until you can get into fish taxidermy. I've mounted fish that have been frozen for 15-20 years.

    Would there be good/credible source you could point me in the direction of on steps to learn what I would need to be doing? Maybe a thread here? Book, articles, videos?
