    Hello all,

A good way to lose clients and referrals is to have the shipping process go sideways. Here are 3 important tips to safeguard your logistics and keep your clients happy.

#1 NEVER promise an exact delivery date from the trucking line. Covid, traffic, accidents, storms, road construction, lack of equipment and many other factors make it impossible to promise a date. Give them a 2 day range. 1-3 days, 2-4 days, etc.

#2 Tell your clients trucking companies need 24 hours to CALL and arrange delivery. Your client has to be present to accept the package. This adds 1 day to the estimated transit time.

#3 Get the tracking or PRO number from the trucker upon pick up and relay that to your client so he/she can go to the carrier's website and get up to the minute tracking. They will love you for this.

    Hope this helps.
