Skeleton Id

  1. Hey guys! Its been a while!

    Can I get a confirmation on the identity of these remains? I said they were fox but some dude claims they are mink. Thanks in advanced!!

    Skull is that of a fox, not a mink or any member of that family. Look for other clues. Length of the leg bones, color of scraps of fur around the carcass. A picture of the skull up close will also help.

    Neat find! Unusual to find an intact skeleton in the wild here...the buzzards scatter the carcasses quickly, and the other predators make everything disappear overnight.
