First Deer Shoulder Mount

    I got my first shoulder mount done this weekend. The free cape was hacked up bad in the eyes and glands but it game me a chance to work on repairs. There are some things I will do different and try to make better on the next ones but I am overall happy.     If antlers aren’t bleached out they shouldn’t be stained,

    That's a really clean, nice looking mount. You obviously did a lot of homework before you began the process...and it paid off well for you! Great first deer...congratulations!

    Yeah they are bleached out a little bit, I shot the buck in 2008 and left them outside for a couple months. I am going to put another one together tomorrow. Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. I love this stuff!
