Have made repro set of Dall horns with skull plate, one piece, using Latex 74 with Research’s latex dressing and “Fast Cast” resin. Worked just fine. Next set, not so much. The latex very hard to remove from the resin. Next set I did as individual horns and used combo of light wax coat followed by Parfilm. Yeah that was a wrong choice, latex is welded to the resin. Any thoughts? We can’t get the aerosol release recommended by Erich Carter sent up here in Alaska, so choices are limited.

    Be careful on using solvents
USING THE MOLD: Avoid exposing the mold to oils, grease or solvent
Try castor oil as that’s the best for latex molds.

The castor oil rather than mineral spirits with Vaseline... thank you very much!
