   Can anyone recommend a good book to help me get started? I'm messing around with an older mount I got from an antique store but I've never done taxidermy before. A book that's geared toward shoulder mounts (as opposed to, say fish) would be ideal. Really appreciate any advice!

   There are many out there but look into breakthrough magazine website and you’ll find a lot for books and videos

   DO NOT rely on Youtube videos. Most of them, but not all, are are lessons in how NOT to do taxidermy.
