What do you mean by their wobbly. They look pretty normal to me. Do you mean that they look or feel like their going to slide off? Because they look like my wolves claws and my coyotes.

What are the paws filled with. And is it just the claw or is it the whole toe.

I would assume this is normal on a soft mount?

Yeah, that’s what I thought. But I don’t really know what their talking about. Either if it’s the actual claw or the toe it’s self.

Because on mine, the toes are “wobbly” but not the claws.

Because I don’t know why the claw would be wobbly unless the one who skinned the wolf before had cut more of the bone off to close to the claw when skinning out the feet.

If the bone was cut too closely I would imagine at least one claw would have been lost at some point.

It’s a soft tan it’s not going to be stiff , it’s going to move . Wet those paws by soaking in water then let them dry again . Bet they get stiff then

Its only some of the claws. Not the toes. Even if i hold those toes individualy the claws can still move easily. I dont know how to explain it any better.

They do come loose sometimes during tanning , we use to wire are bear claws on so not to loose them during tanning . Any , you can squeeze a little super glue gel under the loose ones to tighten up
