Small Deer Frame

    Gotta love the customer right....LOL. So I get a customer that wants a straight on mount (sounds simple) but this is close to as small as it gets...18" neck and thats with a little stretch. I"m looking for recommendations on which for to use. He also asked for a Upright but I'm inclined to make it a semi upright. If you have a suggestion as to a form you like please let me know... So far I'm looking at the OTS 100 and a Research Lancaster 8600. Thanks for the Help...

    An 18” neck is probably the most common size I mount. I do a number every year smaller than that. For some reason there is not a lot of selection on straight poses with some of the smaller size forms. For that size positioned straight, I like McKenzie 9600 or 8600, James taxidermy straight series and Jetz Taxidermy Supply straight forms. Jetz’s forms fit Texas deer really well.
