Carnivore Clavicles

  1. Post here pictures of clavicles, if you don't lose them while precleaning.

    Those are small. Unsure if I have them with a kangaroo skeleton I'm cleaning. They may have been removed with the preliminary fleshing.

    Interesting. Dogs don't usually have ossified ones!

    I actually published a paper a long time ago about felid clavicles including from Smilodon and Panthera atrox
     
  4. All canids have ossified clavicles, i found them in red fox, raccoon dog and dhole

    No. They are mostly cartilaginous, if they exist. Scientists have studied this for over 100 years.
