The consistency and quality of your birds amazes me. Being down south you get prime birds but turning out work that clean puts you as the top bird taxis I've seen. Great job as always. The folks in your local masters competitions had better watch out!
Thanks! I'll never be good at Competition stuff. I lack the detail and Art concept that makes Masters level competitors win. And I'm fine with that. We do get great birds here and that does make a huge difference. I've also learned how to take good pictures. I'm happy with just turning out clean mounts that look good from 5 feet away... From February till October
Cupping blue and a brakes on snow
(Canada so legal with permits) roadkill great grey owl and a landing swainsons hawk.
Decided to start the diver corner cabinet since the wood is in the kiln for it. Bag was my starter from 20 years ago.
Brooke you've heard it all before but your waterfowl mounts are just plain sweet. A tremendous talent you are girl!!!
Josh it's good to see you're still plugging away at birds. I like the hunting bag idea a lot. Look forward to seeing the entire piece once you have the wood done and assembled.
Glen Browning beat him to it way back when!!! You remember him byrdman? Most new guys never heard of him and wire mounting birds.
Thanks! The last week or so I can't get pics to load on this thread. I'm going to have to find a kid to show me why. Nothing loads up when I open the work bench thread but the other threads do.
