Whitetail Eye Finish Wrk W/apoxie Sculpt

    I smooth it out with Mineral spirits, NEVER have had cracks, I also like to wait 3 weeks or longer to dry before finish work. But I'm not doing hundreds of deer heads.

    I was doing some Apoxie Sculpt work and reached for my solvent to smooth it. I saw the name of it and it is Apoxie Safety Solvent. So that's where I got name Apoxie Solvent from.

    use laquer thinner to smooth it for the same reason. it dries really fast and doesn't rehydrate the hide, which to me sounds like what is happening. Even if it is ever so slightly

    KrowT is a shrinky tan at best 10 days is too short of dry time. Your skin is still moving causing apoxie to crack up......and work in room temps.
