I fleshed a duck for the first time last night and it stunk like the lake in the summer. I mean I know ducks have a fishy smell but this was really strong. Is this normal? My towels still stunk even after washing.

wear rubber gloves and use a ton of borax on skin while wheeling and keep skin dry...wash hands outside with warm water in bucket of dawn before washing in house...wash duck in cold water and dawn.... wait til you get a harley or scoter

Yeah I wore gloves and used cold water. Just didn’t think the smell would stick around for that long lol. It was a goldeneye
