I am 58 , white guy , I am full time but only work 7 months a year at it , my choice. I hunt , fish , ride my Harley and do Honey Do’s the other 5 .

 

I am 30. White male and proud. Work underground utilities full time. Do taxidermy for a hobby.

I'm 56, male and more pink than white and I am retired, but back in the hobby mode.

 

53 yr old proud American white male who works 8 months as a taxidermist and 4 months as wild game processor.

I’m 46, half Mexican from my mom. Run my studio full time, hunt and fish on my down time. Benefits of being part Hispanic is that I can rock a sweet tan during the summer months.

 

Had a DNA profile done once. 40% Irish, 59% English or western European, and 1% Finnish...possibly because a Viking raped one of my gggggrandmothers in many of their rape an pillage campaigns across Ireland...but, I is what I is, or as Popeye said, "I yam wot I yam"!

 

I don’t have much info on my moms side but I have a full history book on my dads side clear back to Scotland. I believe we have some cherokee in us on both side. My dads side including me have cold jet black hair well other than premature grays. We tan quite well too.

Up north of the Mason Dixon Line, most blacks live in cities and never grew up running around the woods or had parents that hunted. In the north Central Pennsylvania County I grew up in from 1954-1972 when I left for college out of 36,000 people in the county there was one black and no hispanics. The Black was adopted. I did see a group of black hunters who would come north from Philadelphia to hunt deer the first week. The leader of the group was an old guy who worked the CCC camp in the 1930's in the Toby Creek area, whose nickname was "Blackie". I think they quit coming a handful of years ago. Without hunting trophies there is little use for taxidermy.
