What do you all think of the ear anatomy on this one?

Well... I’d say it looks perfectly natural. But what I want to know is who won the stare down... the horse or the mountain lion??

The horse won that one. The lion killed a deer about 20 yards away, drug it across the rancher's driveway and ate it in the weeds.

Horses are nothing to mess with. Two big stray dogs came through the fence after my Dad's horse. The horse just stood there until they were in the middle of the pasture and then went after the dogs and damned near killed them before they could get back out of the fence. It was entertaining to watch. A mountain lion is a little more of a threat but probably smart enough not to risk an attempt at a healthy horse.
    drob and msestak like this.
