Need some ideas on finishing the back panel of coyote mini ped. I have used suede and created a rock texture. Looking for something new to me. Any photos or info is appreciated

Also, do you cut or tuck the back edge and why? I usually tuck, however a fluffy coyote tends to hide the small size of the back panel

I just brought the excess skin beyond the shoulders around and had them meet in the middle of the back on one. On the other I cut back skin and glued it to the back of the form and brought the excess shoulder skin around to meet it. Fur to fur and no seam detected.

On a coyote I have just used the excess fur...fold it over and tuck it and let it blend right in. I’ve also used small river rocks glued into the form or faux leather instead of felt. I never use felt as it just gets way too dirty and is harder to clean.
