Baseboard Heater

Discussion in 'Skulls and Skeletons' started by bud piserchia, May 30, 2021.

  1. what is your thoughts on using a base board heater for my beetle enclosure for heat
  2. Depending on the size of your enclosure it may be a little overkill and run up the electric bill. I run a couple 5’ freezers and a large 4’ square enclosure. Each of the freezers only take one 100 watt ceramic heater to maintain 75-80 degrees. The large enclosure isn’t insulated well and uses two.

  3. thank you for your help! bud

As above. Look into the screw in ceramic heaters sold for reptiles. Much more economical and safer.
