Id For A Hyena Skull

    Start here. They have really good photos of both the Spotted and Striped. Pay close attention to the alignment of the suture lines on the forehead as well as the pattern of the teeth on the underside of the skull and the shape of the back of the palate. http://skullbase.info/skulls/mammals/spotted_hyena.php Can find photos of the Brown to compare online too.

    Skull shows signs of being boiled to death. Already flaking and losing material. If you have paraloid, it could stand a soak in it to stabilize it from further degradation.
