Epo-grip Question

Discussion in 'Fish Taxidermy' started by tmf48, Jun 21, 2021.

  1. After being out of fish work for several years, I took it up again to mount one for a friend. I have found that my Epo-Grip clear paste has really gone down hill. Part A has turned very hard and part B has dried up some, although digging down into it I did find some usable product.
Question is: can this stuff be "revitalized" in some way or just time for some new? The jars are 3/4's full, just hate to discard if I don't have too.

I keep mine in the freezer and it will last years. It thaws out in about 30 min

Nope it has a shelf life either use it by then or freeze it which helps prolong the life. Once dried up epoxies are hard to bring life back

Epo-Grip toothmaking paste, I have been trying this for making teeth, but they never become hard. I was looking for Cabasil powder but can't find it. I have started to try using magic smooth, to create teeth in a Northern Pike.
