I’m hoping to be able mount a skull directly to a wall securely. Would rather not drill directly into the skull itself if possible, and would also rather not use a wooden plaque. I suppose what I’m looking for is any suggestions for a hook of some sort. I tried a shelf, but the skull doesn’t sit upright without some assistance.
For reference, it’s a scimitar horned oryx, and I’m trying to mount it sideways to a plaster wall above a door.

Photo of the door? I'm having a tough time trying to envision that. You're trying to have the horns going over the door frame?

Thank you, sir. Took a few attempts to get the angle right, but ultimately worked perfectly. Much obliged.
