Ok I have a deer here that has a A measurement of 6 3/4 with a C of 16" The form he wants does not offer that. I can do a 6 3/4 with a 17" C or a 6 1/2 with a 16" C.. My question is if I drop back a 1/4" on the A measurement will it look bad or off. I know I can cut it and add length to the face but I really do not want to get into all that. Thanks

The 6.5x16 will be just fine

Test fit the cape after it is tanned and go from there. Altering your form in either direction, bigger or smaller is a simple endeavor and good practice. Careful planning and accurate alterations will save you a ton of frustration and fitment issues down the road.

A little clay under the nose pad will fill in the 1/4" - the C measurement, IMO, is the most critical.
