I believe you got a cast lip system for that bear , those are designed to drop in an already prepared head . I could be wrong but that maybe why your having issues . You should’ve got a different jaw set for it that you could determine the amount it’s open.

George The older I get, the better I was.

I let myself get conned into an "almost taxidermy" project. I sculpt the face but in retrospect is was sculpted too small for the display. Turkey wing.jpg

I’ve got more on my workbench than I can handle because of these lizards. After 3, I started turning them down …. Work work work! 820D87F5-F78E-4C6D-AB6E-B0BF2440C6AB.jpeg

I don't think I'm going to take in August NM and AZ bears anymore, just no way to make these raggedy things look good. And I'm sure they are stoked with their colour phase bear . . . yea if trailer park blonde is a recognized phase. 20210916_130323.jpg

20210929_164436.jpg These Alaskan Bulls are back breakers. It also doesn't help when it's a replacement cape that's old, hence all the carding

I love the horn wrap, I harass my shop trolls constantly to not touch horns after clay etc. No idea why I haven't thought of that before!

Usually I don't wrap, but the horns are old and were touched up with paint, and I didn't want to ding them up.

We occasionally do repo's horns. I wrap them.
