Loctite, liquid nails, caulk , silicone. I see a lot of people are switching from liquid nails to loctite and just wondering why? Is loctite a newer better adhesive. I don't see anyone using silicone caulk, is this because its so expensive?

Siliconized acrylic caulk used sparingly works well for me.

no need for caulk of any kind for bird work, other than super glue if using a fake head or repairing torn feet etc…. a little cotton batting fill under scaps and flank pockets is all you will ever need…. maybe a touch of caulk to anchor tail feather butts.

I'm with Byrdman. I use a little powergrab to anchor the tail and that's it.

I have not used caulk for filler. Just as a hide paste.

I have heard that Powergrab works great.

I don't use liquid nails but will use the rest you listed, when and where needed. I have never gotten the results I like using cotton alone. Try em all and find a system that works for you, it doesn't matter what someone else uses.

I use LocTite Powergrab 3X on alligators...it's some tuff stuff!

I have an old Taxidermy Today magazine where Page Nethercutt explains how and why he uses Powergrab.
