    I googled "oil paints for taxidermy heads" and came up with a few pics from the tutorial in the Bing images.

    Matuska supply company sells pan pastels that could work on deer heads. The have a Youtube presence with some video on how to use them. I also believe they have oil paints that might work with the pan pastels. You have to seal the pan pastels with workable fixatif spray.

    John Belluci has a you tube video on whitetail finishing where he uses oils and pan pastels you can check out.

  4. Same for me. One of the computer gurus here might need to look at it. There looks to be some real good information in there.

    Before I had an airbrush, I used Black Kiwi wax shoe polish on noses and Kiwi brown around the eyes. There’s a boatload of those mounts still hanging around….possibly a few over the fireplaces at Cracker Barrel!!!
