I have been searching all morning and can't find what I'm after. I have a 3" section of velvet I need to fix on a set of velvet preserved antlers. What adhesive can I use to fix the velvet?

    Thanks Tim

Is the velvet gone? Or has a section lifted up? If the latter, get a little bit of white Elmer's glue under the edges of the skin. Do not get it on the fuzz. If you do, immediately take a dampened piece of clean cloth and wipe it off. Take a long piece of cut rag and wrap the antler where the repair is tight enough to hold it down to the antler underneath. Let that sit for a day or two to completely dry.
