Trapper2016 Thanks for this awesome forum!

sucker.jpg I hope everyone is having a great Christmas so far and staying safe.

I am hoping I can get some help with the identification of a sucker fish. I caught this fish probably 25 years ago when on vacation with my family. We toured around the national parks so this would have been somewhere in the Colorado, Wyoming, Montana area. This picture has hung in my parents house for decades and I never have known really what it was.

I am thinking it might be a Flannelmouth Sucker, but their are a few other species that look similar. If anyone out there might be able to help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Have a great Christmas everyone and thanks for your time
    Chris

I showed this to my brother. He’s a Maryland state record holder for a type of sucker. He thinks it could be a white sucker.
