Pheasant Bodies?

    I've got 2 pheasants to mount.im having trouble finding bodies to fit.they are both
    10 girth x8 long.all I have found are way to big.found a sharptail grouse that was close.any ideas.they both look mature no pin feathers.thanks!

    Research Mannikins ssb-142 7"X11" Amherst pheasant is the closest bosy I have found to your measurements.

    i just watched a video on youtube from Art of Taxidermy covering carving your own. My "test" one didn't turn out too bad at all. Good video
     
  8. It's easy enough to alter any foam bird form, either to go larger or smaller.

    Phesant size is a crap shoot. I rarely see a large one at all.
    Places raise these little Bluebacks that are tiny. Hunters don’t know the difference at these clubs. They just know they got a rooster.
