It took me awhile to be confident enough to take on a pet. I'm pretty pleased with him. It's been a challenge and rewarding. I used a bobcat form from Branden O'Hare. Very versatile form.

No pic and would like to see. Maybe put it on postimage.org for free and put the link here?

Thank you for letting me know. I tried to post it in the comments. I get an error when uploading to the post for some reason.

Thank you. I have changed it up a bit. I shortened the nose up a little bit and softened the eyelids. I'll post a new pic when finished. Just excited about my progress. Scared st the same time hshshs

Indeed the face looks nice. Is it a lifesize mount? Maybe post some pics of the rest of the cat if so.

I certainly will when I get it finished. Got my fingers crossed that it completes well. If not, I'll cry. Hahaha. No pressure though, I was donated the cat, so it will sit on my shelf even if it's a fail

I would pet that. ... Agreed I would like to see the whole when finished too.

The problem with pet mounts is that the owner knew the animal intimately. There are bits of personality that you will never get back into an animal like that. Someone else might see a nice cat or dog mount, but the owner will not see the pet he knew and not be happy.

What you've said makes sense. That would be a nightmare. Thank goodness it was donated to me[
