    Thanks to all that post on this site with tips, ideas and inspiration.

    I've been reading and looking in here for a while now, but this is my first post.

    My artistic interests branched off into taxidermy about 3 or 4 years back.
    This bear is about my 7th or 8th piece. Each mount seems to hold new challenges.
    This one required a ton of sculpting to resize the form to properly fit the hide. It was also rug-cut, so there was a bunch of creative sewing to be done to patch up the chest. 20220210_165551.jpg 20220210_164625.jpg

    Thanks for looking ! Working on a couple of wolf pedestals now. Interesting to see so many hog mounts. Not something I'm used to.
