I just don't get too many pictures of my bench as it's so cluttered but here's a nice hooded. Client wanted an extended neck which I am not a fan of but it worked out. The redhead to the right was completely pin free but that head is certainly a young bird. Otherwise a decent specimen. Gaddies always seem to mount up nice.

Great movement on that Drake Mallard Brooke the feet position adds to the attitude . . . all that's missing is someone yelling "Take'm"

Sept specklebelly with a lot of pins.. unfortunately they leave northern Canada early so we make do with what we can for trophy quality.

I struggled with this one. I took the head back off to paint it and add feathers.

    Brooke,
As everyone here agrees, your work is consistently excellent. The thing that I always notice on all your birds is that the eyes are perfect…they tell us what the bird is thinking. I wish you weren’t so far away from SC. I’d love to watch you set the eyes and pose the skin around them. Back in April 2020 I came through your neighborhood but wouldn’t stop because Covid was really kicking there then.
    Blessings

Check out this tarsus bone from a mallard on my bench. Pellet was still in it when skinned out.
