Paint Struggles

  1. I've never used sealer between paint coats. Maybe its ok but I would think it could effect how well your colors blend together. I only use sealer after applying charcoal, dry pigment on scales, etc. Even then, spray light.

    Are you blending colors while paint is still wet? That would be the only way sealing between colors could have an adverse effect, otherwise sealing does nothing to the color, except maybe to make some colors "pop" a bit.

  3. No sir I allow each coat to dry before the next one goes down. I guess the reason I hadn't sealed in between before is because I really didn't know if there were adverse effects. Now I know. Learn something everyday! If we pay attention...
